MRE

The Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) is a self-contained individual ration issued to Korean Armed Forces personnel during field operations, training, and extended duty periods. It is designed to provide balanced nutrition and sustain Soldiers in demanding environments.

Supplements offer concentrated nutrients and essential substances that help maintain energy, endurance, and overall performance during physically intensive activities.

All About Military Communication

When you have a loved one stationed overseas, one option to keep in touch with them involves buying special military calling cards. These calling cards work at military bases all over the world, and allow soldiers to call home without building up expensive international phone bills, regardless of where they are stationed.

Using Military Communication

When selecting a military communication card, there are several important factors to consider:

•AT&T Global Prepaid Communication Card

A widely used option for service members. It is available at USO Centers, on-base vending machines, and online through the Military Defense and Air Force Exchange Service (MAFES).

•Online Purchase Rates

Communication cards purchased online often offer better rates than those bought in person. Always review the features, validity, and pricing before making a selection.

•Minute Rounding

Check how call time is rounded. While one-minute rounding is ideal, some cards round in three-minute increments, meaning a four-minute call may be billed as six minutes.

•Per-Use Fees

Some communication cards deduct a fee each time they are used, which can reduce available minutes. This can be avoided by using smaller-denomination cards that can be fully used in one call.

•Rate Differences by Phone Type

Call rates may vary depending on whether the soldier is calling from a payphone, mobile phone, or other device. Confirm these differences to avoid unnecessary charges.
